We make all efforts to get you to be seen by the consultant as quickly as possible. There may be a small waiting time of a few minutes but the nurses will let you know.

Once Dr Aamer Nisar has seen you, he will give you a diagnosis if the disease is clear. He will sometimes give you a provisional diagnosis, if further tests are required.

The treatment starts as soon as the diagnosis is made. Some patients will need medicines, whilst others will need a procedure (e.g., a plaster cast or an injection) or an operation. Dr Aamer Nisar will always explain the medicines and treatment to you in detail.

Dr Aamer Nisar always gives each patient enough time to answer their questions. Feel free to ask any questions. In case if you remember any questions after you have gone home, you will be provided a contact number for any further queries.

For minor operations we have a Minor Operations Room, where Dr Aamer carries out procedures like carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release or excision of lumps. Such procedures are done under local anaesthetic, and mostly done on the same day.

If you need a plaster cast or an injection, we have facilities in the OPD. Most procedures are done in the OPD and you will not need to go anywhere.

Dr Aamer Nisar carries out PRP injections in selective cases. For PRP, you will need to give blood in the laboratory, which is located just outside the OPD. It takes about an hour for PRP to be ready. Once PRP is ready, it is sent back to the OPD from the laboratory. Dr Aamer will then inject the PRP as required.

If you require surgery, all efforts are made to operate at the earliest. If it is a fracture that needs surgery, it can be done on the same day or the next day. In case of elective cases, you will be given a date and time for admission. You will be provided a contact number for any queries you might have.

If you require surgery, you will need to be assessed by the anaesthetist. Dr Aamer’s staff will help arrange your anaesthetic assessment as well as any tests that you may require.
